A roster of international projects, completed and in progress, extends the firm’s experience to fast-growing countries in Asia, especially China and India, and in the Carribean. In these overseas locations, Lee Harris Pomeroy Architects has brought a wealth of expertise in projects that include the new East-West Corridor of the Kolkata Metro Railway and the Bin Hai International Convention Center and Hotel/Residential tower, a major new business and resort complex, that was timed to open for the Olympics in China. In China, the firm has been actively engaged in a number of master planned developments that encompass residential, retail, business, industrial and recreational uses to essentially become self-sufficient urban entities. This included a 1,000-unit residential complex with community and retail facilities In Shanghai.

The firm’s skill with large-scale transportation projects, honed in more than thirty-five years experience with New York City’s vast subway system, is also being brought to bear in our overseas projects. Major railway networks and stations planned for China and India, adding modern transportation networks to connect people and help boost overall development in an environmentally sustainable way.

In the Caribbean, LHPA has designed a satellite city on the island of Trinidad featuring cultural, government, recreational and residential facilities.
