Leopoldo Torrocha

Leopoldo Loria Torrocha is a talented architectural designer with the ability to create sophisticated geometric forms; complex designs for high rise towers; intricate master plans; designs for transportation systems, commercial projects, public facilities, educational buildings and residential projects; along with the urban design of new cities. In addition, his international experience, working in Singapore, the Philippines, Cyprus, and Saudi Arabia on many prominent structures, makes him a highly valuable member of our staff.

Mr. Torrocha has 27 years of experience in the U.S. and abroad and has worked at Lee Harris Pomeroy Architects since 1999. Trained as an architect and artist, he is professionally versed in creating three dimensional images: both freehand and utilizing complex computer systems.

With his particular skill in developing computer simulations and models, Mr. Torrocha has been involved in the firm’s work with a broad range of project types including new buildings, extensive renovation, restoration and adaptive reuse projects. His experience includes small-scale residences, large-scale transportation projects, commercial centers, airport terminals and corporate offices. Recently, he has been involved in the design of the Kolkata East West Metro Railway in India and conceptual planning for a mixed use developments in Trinidad & Tobago.

Mr. Torrocha was also involved in the restoration and renovation of the historic St. James Church in Manhattan, a complex renovation and addition to the institution’s neo-gothic sanctuary and parish house and the master plan for Shandong Transport Vocational Technology College in the People’s Republic of China.
